What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy focuses on enhancing awareness of the interconnectedness of human experiences. This heightened awareness fosters a sense of safety,, and emotional regulation, allowing clients to navigate challenging moments with greater ease. By utilizing both internal "resources" or references for grounding, such as pleasant memories and bodily sensations, and external supports, like mentors or comforting experiences, individuals can better connect with their emotions. I will provide gentle, hands off  guidance, helping clients recognize their thoughts and sensations, making this therapy a suitable option for those who prefer a more experiential approach rather than extensive verbal dialogue.
